Year 5 Latin Online Learning, Summer Term 2010

1. Go to the Cambridge Latin Course website at:

http://www.cambridgescp.com/page.php?p=clc^oa_book1^intro

2. Go to Book I, Stage 1

3. Translate the story: “Cerberus” into English.

If you click on the “Explore the Story” button next to the “Cerberus” title a Latin passage will appear. Click on each Latin word and the English meaning will appear at the bottom of the screen so that you can produce a translation.

4. If you finish the “Cerberus” translation you should complete the “Practising the Language” exercises underneath it.

5. When you have done all the Stage 1 activities you should start on the translations in Stage 2 and the “Practising the Language” exercises there.

6. You should also start learning for your first test of term, due on Friday 30^th April. You can get the sheet here:
