YEAR 5 Latin Exam, SUMMER Term 2010

THE EXAM

The exam will consist of the following:

1. A passage of Latin approximately 12 lines long

a. You will be asked to translate approximately 8 lines of this passage into English

b. There will be some English comprehension questions on the rest of the passage

2. A vocab test section on Minimus II Vocabs 1 and 2.

3. Some short questions on “Parts of Speech” e.g. verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs

4. A short test section about Life after Death (similar to the test you have just done this term)

WHAT TO REVISE

• Minimus II Vocabs 1 and 2

• “Death and Burial” notes sheet

• parts of speech sheet

REMEMBER: If you have lost any learning sheets you can either:

ask Miss Taylor-Langley for a new one or
